Description

This position is responsible for managing, and providing creative guidance, leadership and inspiration to a team of producers and preditors responsible for making best in class video assets used in co-branded content as well as network branding and promotion. The salary range for this job is between $137,500-$189,600. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Partner with the SVP, Brand Creative to translate marketing objectives into successful Sales and promotional strategies and executions for Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, Hallmark Family and Hallmark+. • Oversee the creation of Ad Sales co-branded projects, as well as Digital, Social, Affiliate and any other promotional materials as needed. • Work closely with producers and preditors on the team to make highly effective creative that drives brand awareness, tune in and subscriptions across all linear, digital and social platforms. All of which needs to be on time and on budget. • Work very closely with Production on live action shooting assignments from concept to completion. • Work with outside creative agencies and production companies to bring projects to fruition. • Work closely with the Senior Creative Director to formulate scheduling of assignments that will ensure project goals, brand goals and timelines are met. • Work closely across departments within the company to effectively communicate creative projects, strategies, goals and enthusiasm for the work. • Motivate the team and provide best practices for getting the best work. • Other duties as assigned and as business needs require. BASIC REQUIREMENTS • 12 years of experience in television cable or network entertainment. • 3 years of experience as a Creative Director in on air promo, specializing in co-branded content. • Live action shooting experience a must. • Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel experience preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Strongly prefer Bachelors Degree. • Strong leadership skills. • Background in successful co-brand Sales projects a must. • High level of expertise in all areas of television on-air promotion/entertainment marketing. • Excellent creative writing skills. • Strong storytelling abilities. • Boundless ideas and imagination. • Strong musical knowledge – popular and other genres. • Evidence of breakthrough promotional campaigns. • Working knowledge of the post-production process, including Adobe Premiere. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in the management of staff. • Ability to work well with other departments, outside vendors, movie producers and series show runners. • Professional attitude. • Thrives in a fast-paced creative environment. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to inspire and motivate a team. • Embodies the Hallmark Way.
