Role Overview
As an Senior Application Engineer – Machine Vision, you will work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and customers to support the development, testing, and deployment of machine vision solutions. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who have been trained in Machine Vision and are eager to apply their knowledge in real industrial environments.
Key Responsibility
• Support design, configuration, and deployment of machine vision applications
• Work with industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, and vision sensors
• Assist in image acquisition, inspection logic, and vision workflows
• Configure and test vision software and tools for various use cases
• Support proof-of-concepts (POCs), demos, and pilot deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and automation
• Troubleshoot basic vision-related issues and document solutions
• Maintain application notes, reports, and technical documentation
• Assist with customer support, on-site testing, and training when required
Key Requirements
• BE / BTech / Diploma / MSc students or fresh graduates (Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, or related fields)
• Hands-on exposure or formal training in Machine Vision (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of image processing and vision concepts
• Familiarity with cameras, lighting, lenses, and vision systems
• Exposure to any vision software or tools such as Cognex, Keyence, Omron, OpenCV, HALCON, or similar is a plus
• Willingness to learn, work on-site, and travel if required
• Good communication skills and problem-solving mindset
