Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.   The Schwab Bank Platform Team creates a collaborative connection between Business and Technology to identify, define, prioritize, and deliver high value Core Banking business capabilities and competitive bank features while optimizing for operations efficiency and scale.     As an Agile Product Owner, you will collaborate with key business and technology partners to define scope, manage the scrum backlog, interpret and refine requirements, develop Epics and Stories, and collaborate with other technology domains to help the team deliver technology solutions. The ideal candidate should possess an excellent understanding of Agile scrum and Agile SAFe methodology practices and lead others on the team to embrace the Agile discipline.    What you have   Required qualifications   • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience • 5 years’ experience with Scaled Agile Framework and Agile Scrum methodology  • 5 years’ experience as an Agile Product Owner.  Emphasis on business requirements development, technical systems and patterns, and scrum backlog management. Proven ability to create and refine Agile Epics and User Stories  • Deep understanding of Agile best practices and ability to educate and influence others on the value of Agile • Systems analysis skills including data mapping, interpreting code, understanding technical requirements, and analyzing the feasibility of proposed solutions • Skilled at working with a technical scrum team to communicate requirements and refine and sequence work to deliver technical solutions • Ability to determine and document technical solutions to business problems • Ability to analyze and communicate technology recommendations to business stakeholders • Analytical ability to break down business requirements into technical work  • Confidence in presenting a tactical vision to the scrum team and management for both big-picture planning and day-to-day backlog management • Ability to align and unify stakeholders to a common goal  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills  • Strong initiative to lead a technical team to success • Extensive experience and command of JIRA and Confluence  Preferred qualifications • Experience with lending banking industry capabilities and technologies.
