Division Chief Financial Officer (Northeast Region) Significant Regional Travel Required Overview: A leading multi-site manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Division Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support one of its largest and most complex business regions. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership while helping drive operational consistency, financial performance, systems transformation, and long-term strategic growth across the region. This is not a traditional accounting-focused CFO role. The ideal candidate will operate as a true business executive with strong operational finance experience, change leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across a highly decentralized organization. What You’ll Be Doing • Serve as the senior financial and strategic advisor to divisional leadership • Partner closely with operational leaders to drive profitability, scalability, and long-term growth initiatives • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and operational finance activities across multiple locations • Support ERP consolidation efforts, acquisition integrations, process standardization, and organizational transformation initiatives • Drive operational consistency and accountability across a complex multi-site environment • Provide financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic recommendations related to major operational initiatives • Oversee month-end close processes, financial reporting, and compliance activities • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, operational improvement, and increased efficiency • Mentor and develop regional finance leadership teams, including Controllers and broader accounting/finance staff • Operate as a collaborative leader capable of influencing through strong communication and relationship-building What We’re Looking For • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience • Prior experience as a CFO, Divisional CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader • Experience supporting large, multi-site operations • Background within manufacturing, industrial, packaging, distribution, or related industries strongly preferred • Strong operational finance, FP&A, and business partnership experience • Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and operational metrics • CPA and/or MBA preferred The ideal candidate will have proven success in the following areas: • ERP implementations/consolidations • Acquisition integrations • Operational transformation initiatives • Process improvement and standardization efforts
