Why This Role Is Important
• You will lead global financial reporting: own or heavily contribute to consolidations, foreign entity reconciliations, ensuring accounting is aligned with U.S. GAAP across locations
• Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual close, audit readiness, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and timely
• You will work on cost accounting: determining standard vs actual, overseeing margin reporting, inventory valuation, overhead allocation
• You’ll help put in place or improve internal controls and policies
• Strategic partner with other functions (supply chain, operations, development) to feed financial considerations into operational decisions
The Background That Fits
• 15+ years in accounting or finance, with strong manufacturing or product based business experience
• Deep hands-on experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, COGS, overheads
• Experience with consolidations, multi-entity or multi-site reporting, and foreign entity accounting helpful
• Strong experience leading audits, internal controls, financial close processes
• Familiar with implementing or upgrading ERP GREAT PLAINS DYNAMICS/ financial systems; comfortable with forecasting, budgeting, supply & demand planning data
• CPA or relevant advanced degree is preferred
