The role involves implementing and providing academic support for the Public Service Leadership Program (PSLP), developing innovative curricula, coordinating with program leads, and managing assessments to enhance public sector social work workforce development.
Highlights
• Coordinate and support the Public Service Leadership Program (PSLP) curricula across multiple universities in western North Carolina.
• Work closely with the Workforce Development Curriculum Engineer and PSLP team members to develop, launch, and assess program certificates.
• Support pre-service and in-service social work practitioners through immersive, virtual, and asynchronous learning modalities.
• Manage assessment data collection and student learning measures to ensure achievement of learning outcomes.
• Required proficiency with online learning platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Mentimeter, and BigBlueButton.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to Appalachian State University, Mars Hill University, Warren Wilson College, or Western Carolina University.
• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in education, social work, human services, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
• Up to 25% travel to regional human services organizations and partner universities is required.
• Experience with data management systems, instructional design, and academic advising in higher education settings is preferred.
• Hiring range salary is $62,000 to $65,000 per year for a full-time permanent position.
