Please do not apply if you are seeking sponsorship Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer is required by a startup (based in New York) providing an all-in-one risk management solution, combining operational automation and access to liquidity. The company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) with 2+ years of experience (ideally 4+ YOE) to join the product engineering team. They need a product-minded builder who takes end-to-end ownership — from shaping the roadmap to shipping customer-facing features — in a zero-PM environment. This is a high priority hire as company scales its risk management platform for the physical economy. Requirements STEM degree from a top University 2 - 10 years of experience in full-stack engineering with product ownership. Shipped 0→1 product features end-to-end, influencing the product roadmap and making product decisions. Experience at a VC-backed startup OR high-engineering-bar big tech Strong proficiency in React. Full-stack capability — comfortable working across frontend UI (70%) and backend APIs (30%). Prior fintech or trading platform experience is a nice to have What you'll do: Own core product features end-to-end — architecture, build, iteration, and scaling — with direct input on roadmap decisions Build high-performance UIs that render real-time market data, automated hedge recommendations, and open position tracking Develop backend APIs and automated workflows that power the customer-facing product Work directly with the CTO, co-founder, and in-house designer to translate complex financial risk workflows into intuitive experiences Integrate LLMs and AI-driven insights into mission-critical operator workflows Contribute to engineering culture and best practices as an early team member with outsized organizational influence Tech stack React, TypeScript, Next.js, Golang, LLMs, AI/ML Integration, REST APIs, WebSockets
