General Info: US Citizens or GC Holders only Must be on our W2- CAN'T do C2C, no exceptions Long term, on going contract Remote Role Overview: The Lead Technical Architect (OCI) Consultant is responsible for architecting, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments supporting advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and digital transformation initiatives. This role provides technical leadership in designing secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platforms that enable enterprise data, analytics, and AI capabilities. The consultant will partner closely with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, analytics, and business teams to define OCI foundational services, cloud governance frameworks, DevSecOps automation, and AI/ML infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise OCI environments supporting analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives • Define and implement OCI landing zones, tenancy architecture, compartment strategies, IAM, security zones, logging, monitoring, and governance frameworks • Architect scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across dev, test, stage, and production environments • Establish cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for OCI-based analytics and AI/ML workloads • Design and implement AI/ML infrastructure supporting data science, machine learning, and generative AI use cases • Support Oracle cloud services including OAC, ADW, AIDP, OIC, Generative AI, and related platforms • Develop DevSecOps automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OCI Resource Manager), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements • Partner with networking teams on VCNs, subnets, routing, load balancing, VPN, FastConnect, and hybrid cloud integration • Establish operational processes for backup/recovery, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching, and performance optimization • Provide technical leadership to infrastructure engineers, cloud admins, developers, data engineers, and analytics teams • Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for optimization, modernization, and scalability • Develop technical roadmaps, standards, documentation, and implementation playbooks • Support enterprise AI, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives • Provide technical assessments, risk analysis, and recommendations to leadership • Evaluate emerging OCI and AI/ML technologies and recommend adoption strategies Required Qualifications: 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cloud architecture and infrastructure 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience in enterprise environments Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale OCI solutions Strong experience with: • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) • Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) • Oracle AI Data Platform (AIDP) • Identity and Access Management (IAM) • OCI networking and security architecture • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OCI Resource Manager) • CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices • Python scripting and automation • AI/ML platforms, including Generative AI and LLMs Experience building end-to-end AI/ML pipelines (development, deployment, monitoring, governance) Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems Experience integrating OCI with enterprise, on-premise, and hybrid environments Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and best practices Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
