Senior Backend Engineer

Position: Staff/Senior Backend Engineer At Fern, we believe people deserve to own their money and transact with it freely. We’re building a set of first-of-their-kind products, powered by crypto, to enable that future. Our first product, Fern for Business, is an onchain bank account that has seen tens of millions in transaction volume and exponentially growing revenue. We’ve gotten this far with a tiny team! We’re excited to scale our team as we enter the next phases of company growth. We’re looking for an exceptional staff/senior backend engineer to build Fern for Business and our upcoming developer and personal products. You’ll architect, build, and secure complex financial orchestration systems responsible for moving billions in transaction volume, and ship product features that make these workflows accessible to millions of end users. If you’re looking for a high-impact role with significant ownership across backend systems and products, and you’re a tenacious builder who loves working with a team to get shit done, we’d love to meet you.
