Role Description The Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Brescia, responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This position involves implementing and monitoring EHS policies and procedures, conducting regular workplace inspections and risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to local and international regulations. The specialist will develop and deliver safety training, maintain documentation and incident reports, and collaborate with operational teams to prevent accidents and occupational health issues. Day-to-day activities include investigating incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions, supporting audits and certifications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in environmental and safety performance. The role also involves engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners to foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Proficiency in Health & Safety, Workplace Safety, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with experience applying these principles in industrial or engineering environments. Knowledge of Occupational Health practices, including risk assessment, exposure control, and prevention of work-related illnesses. Experience designing and delivering Safety Training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for diverse employee groups. Familiarity with relevant EHS laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or equivalents), and experience supporting audits and compliance activities. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills, with the ability to propose effective corrective and preventive actions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels and promote a strong safety culture. Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage documentation, reporting, and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; proficiency with standard office and reporting tools. Previous experience in
