Fashion Designer – Women’s Apparel (Iconic Lady)

Overview Join our dynamic fashion team as a Fashion Designer specializing in Women’s Apparel for Iconic Lady clothing brand. As a key contributor, you will bring your creative vision to life through detailed design development, ensuring each piece resonates with our brand’s signature style and appeals to a global audience. Duties • Conceptualize and develop original women’s apparel designs aligned with current trends and brand identity • Create detailed sketches and technical illustrations using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator • Develop mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections based on seasonal themes and market research • Collaborate with the product development team to translate designs into prototypes, overseeing garment construction and fit • Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce accurate technical specifications and production-ready patterns • Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept through sample approval, production, and final delivery • Conduct market analysis within fashion retail and styling trends to ensure designs meet consumer preferences • Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure designs align with sales strategies and seasonal collections Experience • Proven experience in fashion design, particularly within women’s apparel or related fields • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for design and presentation purposes • Hands-on knowledge of garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation • Familiarity with CAD software for pattern making and technical drawings • Understanding of product lifecycle management processes from concept to production • Experience in fashion styling, graphic design, and color theory to enhance visual storytelling • Knowledge of fabric types, textile properties, and garment fitting standards • Background in fashion retail environments or related merchandising roles is highly desirable • Ability to interpret trend forecasts and translate them into commercially viable designs Join us in shaping the future of women’s fashion by blending creativity with technical mastery.
