VP, Product & Digital
Hybrid | Northern New Jersey | Financial Services
A well-established financial institution in Northern New Jersey is seeking a VP of Product & Digital to lead the strategy, evolution, and delivery of digital banking products and customer-facing experiences across consumer and commercial banking channels.
This is a highly visible leadership role focused on driving innovation, deposit growth, digital transformation, and customer engagement through modern product management practices and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Product & Digital Strategy
• Define and execute the digital product roadmap aligned with enterprise business goals
• Drive innovation across digital banking channels and customer-facing banking products
• Partner with executive leadership to shape long-term digital and product strategy
• Evaluate emerging technologies, fintech partnerships, and non-traditional product offerings
Product Management & Delivery
• Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and optimization
• Collaborate closely with Technology, Operations, Risk, CX, Marketing, and Analytics teams
• Ensure digital solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and customer-centric
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and maximize platform capabilities
Market Insights & Performance
• Analyze customer behavior, competitive trends, and market dynamics to inform product direction
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure product success and customer adoption
• Translate analytics into actionable business recommendations and enhancements
• Present product updates and strategic insights to senior leadership stakeholders
Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of product professionals
• Support organizational transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of product management experience with digital/customer-facing products
• Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries
• Proven success launching and scaling digital products and experiences
• Strong understanding of digital channels, customer engagement, and product strategy
• Experience managing external vendors and strategic partnerships
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
Preferred
• Master’s degree or advanced certifications
• Experience working within Agile environments
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms, eCommerce concepts, and customer experience strategy
