Head of Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the software engineering department, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management • Define and implement engineering strategies, goals, and best practices • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and project timelines • Drive adoption of modern technologies, including cloud and enterprise architecture • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with business objectives • Establish processes to improve efficiency, quality, and overall business outcomes Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) • 10+ years of experience in software engineering • 5+ years of leadership or management experience • Strong expertise in cloud technologies (preferably Azure), enterprise architecture, and full-stack development • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Key Competencies: • Strategic mindset with strong execution skills • Ability to lead high-performing teams and drive innovation • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail • Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
