Job Summary Hair Salon Chair Rental Opportunity in a small business in Brooklyn NY. Whether you're skilled in hair extensions, color theory, makeup design, your talent will help clients look and feel their best. This day rate position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a lively salon environment. Duties • You will have 1-2 chairs to use to perform any sort of beauty accommodation. Hair cut, color, styling, whatever your specialty is welcome. • Execute professional barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts. • Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions with precision to enhance client beauty. • Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend suitable styles or treatments. • Use your own salon software, or open to adding you to my booking system, Vagaro, to schedule appointments, manage client records, ETC. You will utilize online booking and control your own books. • Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a sterile environment at all times. Laundromat on site. You will be responsible for your own laundry doing throught the day. • Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing bookings, and providing excellent customer service throughout their visit. • Enjoy performing your specialty with a flexible chosen schedule! Requirements • Valid cosmetology or barbering license • Must have full client book to maintain a chair rental model. Owner overflow of clients will go to chair renter. • Skilled in using salon software for appointment management and retail transactions. • Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. • Strong communication skills to understand client needs. • Team Oriented person • Leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the salon.
