Director of Operations and Programs

Overview Overtime Athletics, a leader in youth sports programming, is seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Operations & Programs to join our team. Based in Tidewater/Southeastern Virginia area, this position will oversee day-to-day operations, instructor hiring and training, and financial management. We are seeking a leader with a sports background, strong operations acumen, experience with children, and a touch of sales experience. Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring program quality and efficiency • Oversee financial operations, including bookkeeping and budget tracking • Cultivate strong relationships with families, community organizations, government agencies, and funding bodies to enhance program reach and effectiveness. • Hire, train, and mentor a team of instructors to deliver top-tier youth sports programs. • Collaborate with outsourced sales teams to align on growth targets • Foster a positive culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, safety and excellence. • Report directly to the franchise owner and collaborate on strategic initiatives Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field - A strong sports background, either as an athlete, coach, or in sports programming - Proven experience in operations management and team leadership. - Desire and experience working with children from ages 4 yrs old - 18 yrs old - Excellent organizational, communication, and financial skills - Passion for youth sports and fostering a safe and positive experiences for children and their families Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
