Description
Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking an Underwriting & Portfolio Analyst (Project Finance) for a long-term, temporary-to-permanent position!
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Head of the Team and Portfolio Manager in managing the existing loan portfolio
• Support relationship managers in drafting credit applications, performing credit analysis, and conducting commercial due diligence
• Ensuring compliance, risk management, and internal controls
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence in compliance with bank requirements
• Function as a deal-closing coordinator and prepare necessary paperwork
• Assist relationship managers in credit analysis tasks
• Prepare KYC reviews and reports
• Assist portfolio manager in portfolio-level monitoring
• Assisting with Post Disbursement Management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Experience in credit reasoning, credit writing, and financial modeling
• Experience in KYC due diligence and banking operations
• Prior banking experience, ideally in a commercial bank
• 1-5 years experience with Project Finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
