Armed Security Officer — Anne Arundel County, MD Urban Development Solutions Inc. | Full-Time | Shift-Flexible (Day and Evenings M-F Operations) Urban Development Solutions Inc. is seeking a professional, certified Armed Security Officer to serve on active municipal government contracts in Anne Arundel County. You'll be a frontline guardian — representing our brand, protecting assets, and strengthening the communities we serve. Responsibilities: • Conduct uniformed armed patrols on assigned municipal government sites • Deter, detect, and respond to security incidents; prepare daily activity and incident reports via Connecteam • Enforce site-specific post orders and access control procedures • Coordinate with law enforcement and supervisory staff as needed • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times Requirements: • Valid Maryland Security Guard License • Maryland Wear and Carry Permit (active) • MPCTC Armed Security Training Certification • CPR/First Aid Certification • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening • Shift flexibility (days, evenings) Preferred Qualifications: • Special Police Officer (SPO) Commission — strongly preferred • Prior government or municipal contract experience • Familiarity with digital reporting platforms (Connecteam a plus/ Officer Apps) Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
