Description
The VP, Global Process Owner Transformation Lead provides integrated leadership and quality oversight across our clients’ Finance2030 core transactional process pillar workstreams, Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). Sitting above the individual GPO leads, this role is responsible for ensuring cross-pillar consistency in design methodology, system configuration standards, and integration with the service delivery model. This leader is the primary escalation point for inter-pillar design conflicts, acts as the principal interface between the GPO function and the ERP system integrator and business process integrator implementation partners on process-related matters, and ensures that global process designs are commercially viable, operationally adoptable, and aligned with Finance2030's transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and integrated oversight across the R2R, P2P, and O2C GPO workstreams, ensuring design consistency and cross-pillar alignment.
Establish and enforce a common methodology for global process design, including process documentation standards, design decision governance, and fit/gap assessment criteria.
Serve as the primary escalation point for inter-pillar design dependencies, conflicts, and cross-functional integration requirements.
Interface directly with the ERP SI and BI implementation partners to review and challenge process design proposals, ensure the clients’ global requirements are reflected, and maintain accountability for delivery quality.
Partner with the VP, Finance Delivery Model to ensure process designs are compatible with the intended future-state service delivery model, including Shared Service Center migration and managed services scope.
Represent the transactional GPO function in Steering Committee and executive governance forums, providing consolidated updates on process design progress and key risks.
Develop and maintain the global process taxonomy, owner registry, and design decision log across all Finance2030 transactional process pillars.
Manage the performance and development of the three transactional pillar GPO Sr. Directors, ensuring adequate resourcing and clear accountability for each workstream.
Experience and Professional Qualifications
15+ years of experience in finance process transformation or ERP implementation, with demonstrated leadership across multiple finance process domains.
Deep process expertise across at least two of the three core transactional finance pillars (R2R, P2P, O2C), with working knowledge of all three.
Experience serving as a GPO lead or equivalent in a large, multinational ERP implementation, including hands-on engagement with SI and BI partners on process design and system configuration.
Strong program governance skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams at varying stages of maturity.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to drive consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Oracle Fusion or Workday Finance as a GPO lead or process architect.
Background in both industry (large corporate finance function) and advisory/consulting environments.
Experience designing processes for shared services or outsourced delivery model contexts.
Prior work in complex, multi-entity, globally distributed operating environments
