About Hoselink
Hoselink is a fast-growing, digitally native DTC brand helping customers create better outdoor spaces through thoughtfully designed gardening and watering products. We sell direct-to-consumer across our own Shopify-powered website and Amazon, and our team spans Australia and the US.
We are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, building a brand people love, and creating marketing that drives both engagement and revenue. We move fast, care deeply about quality, and back our work with data.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced eCommerce marketing manager to cover a 6-month parental leave period, starting July 2025.
This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of brand and commercial performance. You will own integrated campaign execution across product launches, seasonal promotions, social, influencer, PR, content, and OOH — while managing two direct reports and our PR agency.
You will work closely with our Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Creative, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure every campaign is aligned to commercial objectives, delivered on time, and built to perform — collaborating on everything from budget planning and inventory alignment (including free gift with purchase availability, launch lead times, and stock availability) to product USPs and launch-readiness.
A note on travel: This role involves some travel within the contract period — including an in-person onboarding week, a team Summit, and a photoshoot in September/October. We want to be upfront about this so candidates can plan accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Product Launches
Contribute to building a forward-looking marketing growth plan, identifying opportunities to accelerate brand awareness and customer acquisition — with a particular focus on expanding Hoselink's presence in key US growth markets
Own the integrated marketing calendar, keeping launches, promotions, and content initiatives strategically sequenced
Lead end-to-end integrated campaigns across product launches, promotions, and seasonal moments — from ideation and creative briefing through to execution and post-campaign reporting
Translate commercial priorities into clear messaging frameworks, launch timelines, and cross-functional workflows
Draw on market research and customer insights to inform campaign strategy and identify growth opportunities
Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, delivered on time, and optimised for customer engagement and revenue performance
Team & Agency Leadership
Manage and support the Social Media & Influencer Manager and Senior Graphic Designer
Manage the PR agency relationship — briefing, approvals, campaign coordination, reporting, and media support
Lead weekly Marketing WIP, fortnightly Creative, and monthly Blog Planning & Content meetings
Create clarity, prioritisation, and accountability across projects while fostering a collaborative team environment
Brand & Content
Review and provide feedback on customer-facing copy and creative across website, email, social, blog, and campaign assets
Develop campaign and creative briefs for launches, partnerships, photoshoots, and content initiatives
Ensure brand voice, messaging, and creative direction are consistent across all touchpoints
Contribute to ongoing market positioning and brand alignment as Hoselink grows its US presence
Support blog content planning aligned to customer education, SEO, seasonality, and product launches
Projects & Initiatives
Keep key in-flight projects moving across the contract period, including marketing assets, sponsorship workstreams, staffing coordination, and booth positioning for the Northwest Garden & Flower Show
Support early-stage scoping and planning for potential participation in the Philadelphia Flower Show, including opportunity analysis and marketing requirements
Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external partners to ensure project deliverables stay on track
Reporting & Commercial Alignment
Monitor key marketing KPIs and use performance data to inform planning and optimisation
Lead campaign reporting and post-mortems, surfacing insights and growth opportunities
Prepare and contribute to monthly business update presentations
Partner with Digital Marketing and eCommerce stakeholders to align campaign activity with site performance, merchandising priorities, and promotional goals
Partner cross-functionally with Finance on end-of-month reconciliations and budget planning, Operations to ensure campaigns align with inventory availability (including free gift with purchase, product launch lead times, and avoiding promoting out-of-stock products), and Product to stay across key USPs, product updates, and launch-readiness
