Marketing Manager (Fintech Firm) Location: NYC Midtown, Hybrid 3 days in office Compensation: $130K to $150K base plus equity participation Our client is a fast-growing fintech company that helps financial institutions create and manage custom investment indexes. They work with asset managers, banks, and insurance companies to support products like ETFs and structured investments. Their technology platform makes it faster and easier to build tailored investment strategies, allowing clients to design exactly what they need instead of relying on standard, one-size-fits-all solutions. As the firm continues to grow, they are expanding their sales and client-facing teams to support a rapidly increasing global client base. Our client is seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial marketing professional to take ownership of marketing efforts and help elevate the firm’s brand, visibility, and growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution, someone who can think creatively about how to position the business while also driving campaigns, content, and initiatives forward in a hands-on way. This individual will work closely with Sales, Product, and Client Service teams to shape messaging, support business development, and build a more structured and impactful marketing function. Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager Role: Campaigns and Client Engagement • Build and execute targeted marketing campaigns aligned with sales priorities • Partner with Sales on pipeline development and outreach • Track and refine campaigns using Salesforce • Collaborate with Client Service on segmentation and engagement Outbound Marketing Execution • Design and deploy campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud • Create emails, landing pages, and digital content • Develop cadence for blogs, white papers, and newsletters • Maintain and enhance website content as needed • Manage social media content, primarily LinkedIn Inbound Marketing and Analytics • Track performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Search Console • Optimize paid social and search campaigns • Improve SEO through keyword research and content updates • Support email campaign optimization and marketing analytics, including performance tracking and A/B testing where appropriate • Help drive video strategy for the website and client communications Brand Management and Content Development • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to drive new content • Maintain brand assets and marketing materials • Support brand development and positioning • Design marketing materials and presentations • Translate technical concepts into clear messaging Sales Enablement • Create and update decks, product profiles, and templates • Partner with sales leadership on content aligned to services and trends • Identify and research B2B prospects • Manage and maintain CRM data within Salesforce Events and External Visibility • Manage conference and event calendar • Coordinate sponsorships and speaking opportunities • Align events with business development priorities Requirements for the Marketing Manager Role: Must-Haves • 3 to 7 years of B2B marketing experience within fintech or the financial services industry • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Core automation tool/Account Engagement) • Strong outbound and inbound marketing experience • Experience with Figma (or similar) and Canva (or similar) • Experience using Google Analytics • Experience managing LinkedIn content • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS • Strong content development and messaging skills • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Self-starter, proactive, and able to operate independently Nice-to-Haves • Experience targeting one or more of the following firms in a marketing capacity is a plus: Asset managers, banks with structured products desks, ETF issuers, family offices, hedge funds, insurance companies, private banks, quantitative investment firms, RIAs/wealth mgmt. firms • Experience with Salesforce CRM • Familiarity with Google Ads & Google Search Console • Working knowledge of SEO best practices • Experience creating sales enablement materials • Experience supporting events and sponsorships What Our Amazing Client Offers: • Competitive base salary, equity participation, and potential discretionary bonus • High-visibility role with direct impact on the firm’s growth • Opportunity to build and fully own the marketing function • Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office) with a strong emphasis on work-life balance • Generous PTO • Competitive health benefits • 401(k) with employer match • Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment alongside passionate and talented colleagues • Strong and supportive leadership team • Clear path for long-term growth
