Description

The hourly wage rate for this position is $37.62 . Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Position Summary

The Handyman A performs general maintenance and repair work across facility buildings and site infrastructure. The successful candidate will support renovation projects, routine maintenance activities, and corrective repairs while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete general maintenance and repair activities.
  • Perform basic carpentry including repairs, installations, and adjustments.
  • Assist with renovation and construction projects.
  • Install and repair doors, locks, hardware, partitions, shelving, and fixtures.
  • Perform painting, patching, drywall repairs, and finishing work.
  • Complete minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacements.
  • Assist with flooring, ceiling tile, and millwork installations.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
  • Move and transport materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required training.
  • Follow all site procedures, safe work practices, and Life Saving Rules.
