Supply Chain Program Manager – Robotics & Automation
Responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain initiatives across robotics and automation programs, driving alignment between sourcing, planning, engineering, product, and finance teams. This role focuses on balancing commercial and technical trade-offs to achieve operational excellence, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience across the product lifecycle.
The position requires a highly analytical and self-driven individual who can synthesize complex inputs, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and operate with a high degree of ownership. Success in this role depends on the ability to manage ambiguity, lead large-scale initiatives, and deliver measurable improvements in cost, lead time, and supply chain performance.
Experience Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations
• Experience working within global hardware or electromechanical supply chains
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional supply chain initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
Preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience across multiple commodity categories
• Background in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
• Experience supporting both new product introduction (NPI) and sustained operations
• Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)
Team & Function Overview
• Part of a robotics supply chain organization supporting large-scale automation programs
• Focused on end-to-end supply chain strategy across multiple product lines
• Works cross-functionally with sourcing, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance teams
• Supports both product development and post-launch lifecycle phases
• Role created to support increased headcount demand and business growth
• High visibility across leadership and stakeholders
Core Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional supply chain initiatives across product development and lifecycle phases
• Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain strategy, decisions, and program updates
• Partner with sourcing, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance to align execution
• Develop and execute cost reduction roadmaps, including total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
• Spares and service
• Replacements
• Tariffs and logistics impacts
• Drive lead time optimization initiatives with clear reduction plans and reporting
• Synthesize multi-functional inputs into actionable recommendations
• Support financial planning, capital approvals, and program-level decision making
• Own supply chain requirements from general availability through end-of-life
• Coordinate implementation of post-launch engineering changes (ECOs)
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements for sustained performance

• Experience driving lead time reduction and scenario planning
• Data Analytics & ReportingStrong analytical capabilities to synthesize data across cost, quality, and supplier performance
• Ability to generate actionable insights and performance reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influence skills
• Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and PLM tools (Agile)
• Knowledge of tariff management and trade compliance
• Experience with scenario planning and supply chain risk mitigation
• Familiarity with Product Development Process (PDP) frameworks
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills
• Experience delivering cost savings and lead time improvement initiatives
