Job title: Data Center Engineer – Trading Client: Elite FinTech Salary: $80,000-$160,000 + Bonus Location: New Jersey Skills: Data Center, Racking, Cooling, Power, Cabling, Moves and Changes The role: My client are looking for a knowledgeable Data Center Engineer to join their team. You will be based on site at a Data Center location in New Jersey, providing all round Data Center based support for an enterprise environment. The role will involve shift work: 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm on a Saturday (5 days shift within this). The successful candidate will have either an Associates or Bachelors degree. Core responsibilities: Racking Cooling Power distribution Patching Cabling Moves and Changes Hardware troubleshooting / Break-Fix New hardware installation Decommissioning Inventory management Experience required: Ideally 5-10 years experience working within Data Center environments Flexibility to work the required shifts Associates or Bachelors degree Good all round Data Center knowledge around the duties above Understanding of Linux desirable Please apply ASAP for more information.
