Senior Asset Management & Credit Portfolio Associate Global Investment Bank | Confidential Opportunity A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced credit and asset management professional to join a high-performing financing and portfolio management team supporting a diverse portfolio of structured credit and lending facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. This role offers direct exposure to private credit, leveraged loans, structured financing, and portfolio risk management within a dynamic, market-facing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in portfolio oversight, credit monitoring, reporting, stakeholder management, and strategic initiatives that support business growth and risk management objectives. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and manage complex borrowing base and financing models • Review and oversee client funding requests and facility utilization • Prepare portfolio analytics and reporting for senior leadership and key stakeholders • Partner closely with underwriting and credit teams on amendments, waivers, and portfolio actions • Track covenant compliance, reporting requirements, and risk metrics across financing facilities • Support technology, automation, and data management initiatives • Analyze industry developments and market trends impacting portfolio performance • Collaborate with risk management, operations, finance, and other internal stakeholders Qualifications • 5+ years of experience within banking, credit, asset management, structured finance, leveraged lending, or related fields • Understanding of corporate credit, leveraged loans, private credit, and financial statement analysis • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel proficiency • Experience reviewing loan agreements, financing documents, or credit-related legal documentation preferred • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus What Makes This Opportunity Unique • Exposure to a global portfolio spanning multiple asset classes and geographies • Direct interaction with senior decision-makers and business leaders • Opportunity to influence portfolio strategy, risk management, and business growth initiatives • Highly visible role within a market-leading financial institution • Strong potential for long-term career development and advancement Location: New York City Compensation: Competitive base salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits package
