As the business continues to expand, they are building the internal infrastructure to match - and finance is at the core of that foundation. About the Role This is a hands-on, senior accounting role for someone who is highly organized, detail-obsessed, and fully comfortable owning the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-moving company. You'll be the person who keeps the numbers clean, the records tight, and the reporting on time - working independently and with full accountability over the function. Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting operations including invoicing and transaction recording • Perform regular reconciliation of invoices, payments, and accounts • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records with proper documentation • Monitor accounts payable and receivable • Process and track payments, ensuring timely execution • Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with closing procedures • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors when required What We're Looking For • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within small to mid-sized companies • 2+ Years of experience withing e-commerce/DTC environment • Experience tracking high-volume transactions, managing inventory costs, integrating accounting software with platforms like Shopify or Amazon, and ensuring accurate sales tax compliance • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and core accounting principles • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero or similar accounting software • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines • Fluent in English - additional languages are a plus What's on Offer • Competitive salary based on experience • Based in Milan, Italy (REMOTE) • Stable and supportive work environment • A key operational role with real impact on a growing global brand
