The design team's five product designers offer a diverse range of experience, from early-in-career professionals to seasoned experts.</p> <h1><strong>Job description</strong></h1> <p><strong>See yourself at Twilio</strong></p> <p>Twilio is seeking a <strong>Product Designer (P4)</strong>&nbsp;to join our Onboarding and Compliance team. We power real-time business communications and data solutions globally. You will work alongside other product designers and in lock-step with product and engineering stakeholders, leveraging UX best practices to diverge and converge on solutions. You will be an owner of your work, prioritizing tasks to maximize impact while supporting design and business objectives.</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Product Strategy</strong>: Use customer and product expertise to contribute early and often to your product team's roadmap. Advocate for how work gets prioritized by drawing on your understanding of business goals.</li> <li><strong>Craft &amp; Execution</strong>: Independently scope work and use a strong command of UI best practices to design multi-page or multi-state experiences. Utilize and help evolve the design system when needed.</li> <li><strong>Research</strong>: Lead or co-lead research initiatives, using those insights to inform design and identify opportunities for your product team.</li> <li><strong>Teamwork &amp; Communication</strong>: Clearly document and articulate decision-making in a way that is easy for different audiences to understand. Independently manage feedback and escalate risks appropriately.</li> <li><strong>Leadership</strong>: Design and facilitate team discussions repeatedly and across different contexts to help solve challenges on your team.</li> <li><strong>Project Management</strong>: Establish necessary commitments with PM and Engineering partners, defining a plan to perform the work and delivering successfully.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!</p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience</strong>: Demonstrated ability to independently lead comprehensive user-centered designs and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.</li> <li><strong>Technical Proficiency</strong>: Experience in shipping high-quality user interfaces and flows in a systematic, detail-oriented way with a focus on driving strategic design decisions and delivering impactful solutions.</li> <li><strong>Communication</strong>: Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to peers.</li> <li><strong>Twilio Fit</strong>: A "Builder" mindset with a track record of driving initiatives forward with resilience and adaptability.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Has 8+ years of industry experience and a related degree or equivalent experience in software interface design and/or development.
