1. Who we are (Data Controller)

TalentyGo LLC ("TalentyGo", "we") is the Data Controller for personal data collected through talentygo.com and associated domains. Registered office: 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data strictly necessary to provide the service:

• Account data: email, password (hashed), signup date.
• Resume data (if you upload it): file contents, AI-extracted skills, professional experiences, languages, city.
• Search preferences: sector, roles, markets, work modality, salary range.
• Usage data: jobs viewed, saved, applied to, conversations with Charlie (AI assistant).
• Payment data: managed directly by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1); we only store the Stripe customer ID and subscription history.
• Technical data: IP address (for market geolocation), user agent, technical cookies.

3. Authorized Vendors (Data Processors)

To provide the service we rely on the following processors, each bound by a DPA (Data Processing Agreement):

• Cloudflare Inc. — hosting, CDN, edge compute, vector storage
• Stripe Inc. — payments, billing, customer portal
• Anthropic PBC — Claude AI models (resume parsing, deliverable generation, customer care)
• OpenAI L.L.C. — embeddings models for job-user matching
• Resend Inc. — transactional email delivery (verification, invoices, deliverables)
• Adzuna, JSearch, USAJobs, Indeed — job listing aggregators

4. Your rights (California Consumer Privacy Act — CCPA / CPRA)

As a US resident (California or states with analogous laws like Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Utah UCPA), we process your personal data in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You have these rights:

• §1798.100 — Right to Know: request what categories of personal data we collect, the purposes of use, and recipients.
• §1798.105 — Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal data. For security we may verify your identity before processing.
• §1798.106 — Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• §1798.110 — Right to Access (CPRA): request a copy of your personal data in readable format.
• §1798.120 — Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Share: opt out of sale or sharing of your data for cross-context advertising. TalentyGo does NOT sell data to recruiters nor share for behavioral advertising.
• §1798.125 — Non-Discrimination: we do not discriminate against users who exercise their CCPA/CPRA rights.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for the period necessary for the described purposes: active account + 30 days after deletion. Conversations with Charlie are retained for up to 90 days. Tax-related data (invoices) is retained for the legally required period (10 years). You can always request early deletion.
