You’ll collaborate closely with People Operations, Payroll, and business stakeholders to ensure our Workday HCM setup remains scalable, reliable, and intuitive as we grow.</p> <p>Rather than simply maintaining the system, you’ll help shape how our employee lifecycle processes are designed, configured, and continuously improved — ensuring Workday supports both operational excellence and a seamless experience for SumUppers.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Configure and enhance Workday’s Core HCM module to ensure our processes are scalable, consistent, and easy to navigate.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into thoughtful system design — improving workflows, automation, and data quality.</li> <li>Strengthen document generation, validation logic, and reporting structures to reduce manual work and prevent downstream errors.</li> <li>Provide responsive and empathetic guidance to SumUppers using Workday, helping them feel confident and supported.</li> <li>Build and maintain reliable reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and supporting informed decision-making.</li> <li>Contribute to clear documentation, structured change management, and sustainable configuration standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You’ll thrive in this role if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with Workday HCM Core (experience with additional modules such as Time Tracking or Compensation is a plus).</li> <li>A solid understanding of Workday fundamentals such as Staffing, Worker Data, Organizations, Business Processes, and Reporting.</li> <li>Confidence working with structured datasets to validate configuration changes and ensure reliable outputs.</li> <li>Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and attention to data accuracy.</li> <li>The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.</li> <li>A mindset that looks for simplification, standardisation, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Advanced English communication skills;&nbsp;</li> <li>Intermediate Portuguese;</li> </ul> <h2 class="cui-headline-64we cui-headline-l-bth2 css-1cpk9mt e173j6r80">Why you should join SumUp</h2> <p class="cui-body-gccz cui-body-m-0hb4 cui-body-regular-g1zg cui-body-normal-pxkh css-k4eprn">🌎 Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Berlin office.
