Key job responsibilities • Drive operational excellence initiatives to define roadmap plans, develop and manage implementation activities. • Develop documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support. • Establish channels for continuous feedback and improvement across the organization. • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, key stakeholders, and team members. Ensuring Plan B’s are always in place. • Actively seeking out opportunities to optimize processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve overall performance across the organization • Design processes and procedures that scale with the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion. • Applying tools and techniques from Lean and Six Sigma to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and reduce variation • Utilizing data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and measure the impact of improvement initiatives • Leading and supporting change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices • Working with teams across different departments to identify and implement improvements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred Qualifications • Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification • Demonstrated track record of Six Sigma problem-solving and analytical skills, and of achieving results in similar work or operational environments • Experience with technology transformation initiatives • Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing • 3+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN/Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives • Expertise in operational excellence methodologies Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
