Description
We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and hands-on Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to build, coach, and lead a high-performing outbound team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing pipeline generation strategy, managing day-to-day BDR performance, and helping scale a newly built outbound function. You will partner closely with Sales and Growth Marketing leadership to drive consistent pipeline growth while mentoring and developing early-career sales talent.
This is an onsite leadership role based in Warrendale, PA, 5 days per week. Team hours are 7:30am–4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed pipeline generation goals
• Create accountability through activity metrics, pipeline KPIs, and consistent performance management
• Train team members on outbound prospecting strategies across calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness
• Monitor and improve lead qualification processes and outbound conversion rates
• Conduct regular call reviews, coaching sessions, and career development conversations
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and ramping new BDR team members
• Maintain visibility into pipeline performance and forecasting through CRM reporting (HubSpot)
• Identify process improvements and scalable workflows to support organizational growth
• Foster a high-energy, competitive, collaborative, and fun team culture
Qualifications
• 2–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or pipeline generation roles where you were a highly successful BDR yourself
• Required previous experience leading, mentoring, and coaching SDR/BDR teams
• Strong understanding of outbound prospecting and modern sales development strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills—both written and verbal
• Highly organized with strong operational and time management skills
• Data-driven mindset with experience managing KPIs, activity metrics, and pipeline reporting
• Ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Salesforce Navigator or similar tools
• Experience in SaaS, technology, staffing, or high-growth startup environments preferred
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline or revenue goals
