Key Responsibilities Heavy AutoCAD usage to prepare Site layout, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control design, landscaping and lighting layouts, zoning code reviews, and municipal and agency permitting. Review and interpret surveys and engineering reports (geotechnical, environmental, wetlands, traffic, etc.) for use in site design. Working knowledge of NYSDEC stormwater regulations and the motivation and ability to learn similar regulations for other states outside of NY are required. Municipal and agency permitting and attendance at meetings. Coordination with utility companies and review of design. Some travel for meetings, site observations, etc. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Qualifications BS or pre-professional degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited school. Proficient with technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, truck-turning, Hydrology, etc. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Google Earth, etc. Preferred Qualifications EIT 3+ years of experience with site design.
