This role is central to the coordination and execution of Anduril Australia's international and domestic freight operations, with a strong emphasis on carrier management, international freight coordination, and operational visibility across all modes of transport.</p> <p>Working alongside the Senior Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day freight coordination while contributing to carrier strategy, KPI reporting, and process development. You will coordinate closely with Anduril's Compliance function on trade compliance matters, working alongside customs brokers and internal teams to ensure all shipments meet regulatory requirements including ITAR, AQIS, and ABF.</p> <p>This is a high-impact role in a lean, fast-growing team. You will operate with significant autonomy and have a direct line of sight to the function's strategic direction. Domestic Freight Coordination</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Coordinate end-to-end shipment execution across all modes: road (LTL/FTL), air, ocean, and parcel — both international and domestic</p> <p>—&nbsp; Manage carrier booking, scheduling, and performance tracking across the Anduril Australia freight network</p> <p>—&nbsp; Ensure freight documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant for all shipments</p> <p>—&nbsp; Monitor shipment exceptions, delays, and escalations; drive corrective actions and communicate proactively with stakeholders</p> <p>—&nbsp; Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and last-mile carriers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery performance</p> <p><strong>Trade Compliance Coordination</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Coordinate with Anduril's Compliance function on import/export requirements for all international shipments</p> <p>—&nbsp; Work with customs brokers to ensure shipments comply with AQIS, ABF, and biosecurity requirements</p> <p>—&nbsp; Support the Compliance team on ITAR-controlled shipments, export licences, and classified material handling from a logistics execution perspective</p> <p>—&nbsp; Maintain accurate shipping documentation and audit-ready logistics records</p> <p>—&nbsp; Support customs audits, broker reviews, and regulatory reporting as required by the Compliance function</p> <p><strong>Analytics, Reporting &amp; Cost Management</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Track and report on logistics KPIs: cost per shipment, on-time delivery, transit time, carrier reliability, claims rate</p> <p>—&nbsp; Analyse freight spend data to identify cost drivers, savings opportunities, and efficiency improvements</p> <p>—&nbsp; Maintain and develop logistics dashboards and reporting cadences (weekly operational, monthly executive)</p> <p>—&nbsp; Support monthly freight accruals, invoice reconciliation, and financial reporting</p> <p>—&nbsp; Contribute to carrier benchmarking, rate analysis, and RFP processes</p> <p><strong>Carrier &amp; Stakeholder Management</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Build and maintain operational relationships with key carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers</p> <p>—&nbsp; Manage lane rates, routing guides, and carrier assignments within TMS/ERP systems</p> <p>—&nbsp; Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Programs, Finance, and Procurement teams</p> <p>—&nbsp; Support carrier strategy development alongside the Senior Logistics Manager</p> <p><strong>Process Development &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and logistics playbooks for the Australia function</p> <p>—&nbsp; Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce cost, and enhance service quality</p> <p>—&nbsp; Conduct root-cause analysis of shipment exceptions, claims, and compliance incidents</p> <p>—&nbsp; Contribute to TMS/ERP system optimisation and data quality initiatives</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field</p> <p>—&nbsp; 5–7 years of progressive experience in logistics, freight, transportation, or supply chain management</p> <p>—&nbsp; Demonstrated experience with international freight operations, including import/export processes</p> <p>—&nbsp; Working knowledge of Australian customs and biosecurity requirements (AQIS, ABF) and international trade compliance</p> <p>—&nbsp; Experience with multi-modal freight management: road, air, ocean, and parcel</p> <p>—&nbsp; Proficiency in TMS and/or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)</p> <p>—&nbsp; Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, data analysis, and KPI reporting</p> <p>—&nbsp; Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills</p> <p>—&nbsp; Ability to work autonomously in a lean, fast-paced, high-growth environment</p> <p>—&nbsp; Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance (NV1/NV2)</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <p>—&nbsp; Experience in defence, aerospace, or high-technology environments</p> <p>—&nbsp; Familiarity with ITAR and export control regulations</p> <p>—&nbsp; Experience with dangerous goods / hazardous materials shipping</p> <p>—&nbsp; Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies</p> <p>—&nbsp; Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)</p> <p>—&nbsp; Experience managing customs broker and freight forwarder relationships</p> <p>—&nbsp;
