What you’ll do Design, build, and evolve the OverIT Cloud Native Platform running on AWS, combining Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Cloud Reliability practices. Design, challenge, and continuously improve High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies by defining recovery plans and running disaster recovery simulations. Drive observability initiatives using Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, dashboards, alerting, and distributed tracing. Build and evolve cloud platforms through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and automation. Optimize cloud performance, resource utilization, and costs by applying FinOps principles. Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and continuously improve platform resilience. Eliminate operational toil through automation and process optimization. Collaborate with Software Engineers and Cloud Architects to improve platform scalability, security, operability, and developer experience. Operate in a security-first environment, applying security best practices across the platform. What you’ll need 4–6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles. Ownership mindset, with end-to-end accountability for the systems you build. Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route53, Load Balancers) and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Helm, and modern cloud-native platforms. Experience designing and operating cloud platforms, including HA and DR strategies. Experience with GitOps workflows, Helm, and CI/CD automation (e.g. Argo CD). Strong understanding of observability practices using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry. Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies. Pragmatic engineering approach, balancing technical excellence with business value. Long-term thinking, building solutions that remain scalable, maintainable, and reliable over time. Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken. What's nice to have Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including workload and database migrations across hybrid EC2/EKS environments. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Database, or Oracle Database@AWS. Experience with Kubernetes observability, capacity planning, or cost optimization tools (e.g. Kubecost). Exposure to Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives. Experience supporting enterprise-scale or mission-critical SaaS platforms. AWS or Kubernetes certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or equivalent). Salary ranges are defined for each role based on experience, competencies, responsibilities, and geographic location, with additional benefits and performance-based incentives depending on the position. The expected annual gross salary range for this position is €40,000–€55,000.
