That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.</span></p> <h3><strong>About the team</strong></h3> <p>The Global Payment Methods and Expansion Partnerships team develops and manages relationships with payment methods and financial partners that enable Stripe’s product strategy, and delivers new capabilities in new and existing markets to Stripe users. Our team executes on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across new products, geographic expansion, user advocacy, and policy. These partnerships have a significant impact on Stripe and the products used by millions of our users.&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a new member to join our team to develop and execute on high-impact initiatives with both payment method partners and expansion partners in new and existing markets, focussing on EMEA. These partnerships form the basis of Stripe’s product. As part of these efforts, you will be responsible for deal negotiation and execution for our EMEA payment methods and expansion business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of Stripe's payment method partners.&nbsp;</p> <p>The role will require close coordination with product and engineering teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including go to market teams, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Risk, etc., and with external partners’ senior executives.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities and craft partnership and product strategies for market expansion and payment method partners in existing markets in EMEA</li> <li>Execute deals, manage partner onboarding and partnership development for new and existing financial partners</li> <li>Understand our partners’ strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and recommendations to Stripe product stakeholders</li> <li>Develop and grow Stripe’s relationships with partners, identifying&nbsp; partner stakeholders who will champion Stripe, and building alignment between Stripe and our partners</li> <li>Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of both deal&nbsp; processes and ongoing partner management and&nbsp; distribution initiatives</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</span></p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate development or a related field</li> <li>5+ years of experience related to payments and/or ecommerce</li> <li>Deep EMEA market knowledge, Israel, the Middle East and Africa preferred, and a thorough understanding of payment method dynamics and business models</li> <li>Strong agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal</li> <li>Experience working in a product centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across a wide variety of functions</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Deep EMEA market knowledge, Israel, the Middle East and Africa preferred, and a thorough understanding of payment method dynamics and business models</li> </ul>
