Manager, Software Engineering - Mobile Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Manager Software Engineering - Mobile Platform to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $142,800 – $184,800 annually Responsibilities Define and evolve mobile platform strategy for cross-platform development Improve build systems, CI times, and developer productivity Establish performance benchmarks for mobile applications Lead customer-facing feature development with a focus on quality and velocity Manage a team of 13-14 engineers across mobile pods Drive engineering practices to ensure system reliability and observability Foster a culture of ownership and technical excellence within the team Qualifications 8+ years of mobile engineering experience (Android/iOS) 3+ years of experience in engineering management Deep expertise in a native mobile stack (Android or iOS) Strong grasp of cross-platform development trade-offs Experience in optimizing app performance (memory, startup, network) Familiarity with modern CI/CD systems in mobile development Benefits Employee-led remote and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive health benefits Support for professional development and growth Inclusive work environment policies Access to competitive total compensation package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
