Description

Hi Role : SRE DevOps Engineer Location : Phoenix, AZ Senior DevOps CICD Engineer with good hands-on knowledge in Harness features including CI/CD, Chaos Engineering, SEI, Observability, Cloud cost management and Monitoring. Design and build observability tooling using Golang, Java, and/or Python to support the bank’s critical applications, networks, and databases. Build internal tooling, APIs, and services to improve debuggability, reliability, and MTTR, including AIOps capabilities Collaborate with application, network, platform, security, operations, and SRE teams to define observability standards and best practices Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain observability platforms and services for logs, metrics, traces, and events Develop high-performance telemetry pipelines and instrumentation libraries in Golang, Java, or Python Implement and extend OpenTelemetry collectors, exporters, processors, and SDKs Instrument distributed systems to provide actionable, high-fidelity signals and alerts, not noise Build internal tooling, APIs, and services to improve debuggability, reliability, and MTTR, including AIOps capabilities Collaborate with application, network, platform, security, operations, and SRE teams to define observability standards and best practices Optimize telemetry systems for scale, cost, and reliability in cloud and containerized environments Diagnose complex issues across microservices, networks, and data pipelines under time pressure Automate everything that looks like toil Required Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience building and/or maintaining observability services Strong software engineering background, with production experience in Golang, Java, Python, or C# Experience building or operating distributed systems Understanding of observability concepts: metrics, logs, traces, events, SLIs/SLOs Familiarity with common observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Jaeger, Tempo, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.) Experience running systems in Kubernetes and cloud environments Solid understanding of performance, concurrency, and memory management Ability to debug production systems using telemetry Nice to Have Background in SRE, platform engineering, or internal developer tooling Experience with high-volume data pipelines (streaming, buffering, backpressure Thank you sandra [email protected])
