Hands-on CTO

A rapidly growing and progressive Software Company in the Non-Profit/Political space is currently hiring for a hands-on CTO local to the DC area, who can be on site, does not require relocation, and who has led Engineering teams of 10+ folks! Experience Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technology leader in a high-growth startup environment . Demonstrated success bringing complex data products from stealth mode or early development to market . Experience leading and scaling engineering teams of 10+ engineers . Background working in data-driven platforms, SaaS products, or AI/analytics systems . Experience scaling systems and organizations during early-stage startup growth . Technical Background Strong foundational knowledge of modern software architectures and cloud-native systems . Familiarity with Python-based backend ecosystems and React-based front-end frameworks . Experience designing data platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable infrastructure . Understanding of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and productized data services . Leadership Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution. Proven ability to build engineering culture and mentor technical leaders . Strong communicator capable of working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders .
