About the Opportunity: The Software Engineer (Backend) will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and building the core product. This position offers significant impact at an early stage, influencing both the product and the organizational culture. The role demands ownership over outcomes, including ongoing support and iteration, contributing directly to the company’s goals and values. Responsibilities: Design, architect, and build the core product as part of the engineering team Take ownership of product outcomes, including iteration, documentation, and bug fixes Collaborate with the product team to define features aligned with organizational goals Contribute actively to company culture and participate in future hiring efforts Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of backend development experience Expertise in Python; Django framework experience preferred Proven experience in building and delivering web applications Preferred familiarity with modern infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, CircleCI Knowledge of modern software development practices including Gitflow, continuous integration, and peer reviews Pay Range and Compensation Package: Estimated annual salary between $150,000 and $190,000, plus a competitive equity package.
