Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Interior Designer to join our team on-site at our New York, NY office. The Assistant Interior Designer will assist in the development and execution of interior design projects, including space planning, drafting construction drawings, sourcing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), and collaborating with clients and team members. The role involves supporting lead designers by preparing design concepts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely project delivery with attention to detail and aesthetic standards.
Qualifications
Experience with Space Planning and creating functional, efficient spatial arrangements
Knowledge of Architecture principles and practices relevant to interior design
Proficiency with Construction Drawings and the ability to produce accurate design documentation
Understanding and hands-on experience with Interior Design and FF&E selection
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
