Role: Product Owner – IFRS to US GAAP / LDTI Location: Frederick, Maryland (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Core Requirement (What They Really Need) They are looking for a Product Owner who understands: • US GAAP accounting • LDTI (ASU 2018-12) • Life Insurance / Annuities • Financial reporting systems • Agile Product Ownership This is NOT a generic Product Owner role. The candidate must have a strong combination of: • Finance/Accounting knowledge • Insurance domain expertise • Product Owner / Agile delivery experience Must-Have Skills (Primary Filter) • US GAAP + LDTI Experience Candidate must know: • ASC 944 • LDTI (ASU 2018-12) • CECL • Insurance financial reporting • Life Insurance / Annuities Domain Candidate should have worked in: • Life Insurance • Annuities • Actuarial/Finance reporting projects • Product Owner Experience: • Agile Product Owner • Scrum or SAFe • Backlog management • User stories • Stakeholder coordination Keywords: • Product backlog • User stories • Scrum • SAFe • Agile ceremonies • Product roadmap Good-to-Have Skills • Policy administration systems • Financial reporting platforms • Audit/regulatory reporting • Finance transformation projects • IFRS to US GAAP conversion projects Responsibilities • Manage backlog for financial reporting systems • Convert actuarial/accounting requirements into user stories • Coordinate Finance + Actuarial + IT teams • Validate financial outputs • Support LDTI implementation/transformation SYSMIND LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
