Financial Director

About Us We are a recruitment agency partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company to find a Director of Finance. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package (base up to $170,000 plus bonus and benefits). Position Summary The Director of Finance will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, reporting, and ERP optimization. This individual will play a critical role in driving financial performance, improving processes, and supporting the company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing industry experience and deep expertise in NetSuite ERP. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals • Partner with executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes • Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements Accounting & Reporting • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP • Manage cash flow, cost controls, and profitability analysis • Coordinate audits and maintain internal controls ERP & Systems (NetSuite) • Lead optimization, maintenance, and enhancements of NetSuite ERP • Drive system improvements to support scalability and operational efficiency • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate data flow and reporting • Act as internal SME for NetSuite functionality and reporting tools Operational Finance • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams on cost accounting and inventory management • Monitor production costs, margins, and key performance indicators • Implement process improvements to drive cost savings and efficiency Team Leadership • Manage and mentor finance and accounting team members • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred) • 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, with leadership responsibility • Manufacturing industry experience required (cost accounting exposure strongly preferred) • Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience required • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls • Proven ability to lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills • Experience in a growth-oriented or mid-sized company environment a plus Why Join Us? • Competitive base salary up to $170,000 • Performance-based bonus opportunity • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k) • Opportunity to influence strategy and drive meaningful change • Collaborative leadership team and strong company culture
