Our Advocacy team is central to this mission—empowering our users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy.</p> <p>We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.</p> <p>This is a full time role based at our San Francisco Hub. Must be&nbsp;comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time to connect with our community in person.</p> <h4>What you’ll do at Figma:</h4> <ul> <li>Empower users at scale: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows</li> <li>Create compelling content: Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems</li> <li>Inspire community connections: Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives</li> <li>Speak and engage at events: Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work</li> <li>Champion user voices: Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends—advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>We'd love to hear from you if you have:</h4> <ul> <li>Deep, hands-on expertise with Figma and demonstrated experience integrating it within real product teams and modern product development environments, collaborating closely with engineers and cross-functional partners</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving workflows, including design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping</li> <li>Active participation in the design community, whether through events, online platforms, open-source contributions, or advocacy work</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workflows or systems clearly — and a track record of confidently engaging large audiences in public speaking settings</li> <li>Thorough understanding of modern product design workflows, with hands-on experience building, managing, or using design systems</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</h4> <div> <ul> <li>An entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable taking ideas from early exploration to impactful, polished outcomes</li> </ul> </div> <div>At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
