That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.</span></p> <h3><strong>About the team</strong></h3> <p>The Risk PMO team supports Stripe’s mission by protecting Stripe’s revenue and driving the cross-functional strategy for Company-level and Org-level OKRs. We are builders and operators leading complex, global initiatives from incubation to full cycle program management. The problems we work on have often never been worked on before and we frequently build 0 → 1 solutions. We do this through a combination of rigorous thinking, strategic alignment, and a user-first approach to solving problems across teams at Stripe.</p> <p>As we rapidly grow our company and customer-base, we need ‘full stack’ program management experts with global program experience who easily flex between:</p> <ul> <li>PMO responsibilities coordinating across a number of cross-functional team members across global teams</li> <li>Running the full breadth of building and operationalizing incubation programs from hypothesis, design, build, and change management&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicating with our users and internal teams and building strong relationships across GTM&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>As an enablement function, we work with many stakeholders including Operations, Product, Eng, GTM, and others. If you’re the type of person who enjoys working on high impact projects on a global scale, running programs from end to end, and advocating for users – you’ll love this role. Note: We do not require prior experience in Risk or Compliance to be considered for this role.</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <p>If you thrive on owning an expansive and complex topic area, teasing out the highest-impact work to tackle, rallying cross-functional support, and executing against multiple workstreams in parallel to hit your objectives, we want to hear from you.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead complex global programs, from initial scoping to design and execution and work on high-impact strategic initiatives</li> <li>Create structured approaches to user feedback and insights to improve our programs and user experience</li> <li>Design and launch projects that lead to step-change improvements in our operational processes and business outcomes</li> <li>Partner closely with our cross-functional stakeholders to scope and execute large projects to create operational efficiencies that improve top-line metrics</li> <li>Build relationships with progressively more senior stakeholders</li> <li>Embody our Operating Principles and foster Stripe’s values and culture</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are a strategic operator and powerful storyteller. You have significant experience writing 1-pagers, developing slide decks, and using data visualization tools – and your work serves as an inspiration to others. There’s no problem too large or small to solve; you pride yourself on being a problem solver.We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</span></p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in program management, strategy &amp; operations, or go-to-market strategy</li> <li>Self-starter; works independently and autonomously to drive outcomes for projects</li> <li>Bias towards action and high accountability for outcomes</li> <li>Strong project and program leadership, ability to articulate strategy and project plans, and develop a clear point of view</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present with confidence to senior stakeholders in a succinct, clear way</li> <li>High willingness to learn and receive feedback</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>2+ years in tech</li> <li>2+ years in program management</li> <li>Prior experience partnering with GTM, Product and/or Eng teams is a plus</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> </ul>
