Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at Savvy Color Salon in Baltimore, MD. The Hairstylist will provide a range of services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, treatments, and blowouts, tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, recommending appropriate hair care and products, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation in accordance with salon standards. The role involves building and maintaining a loyal client base through excellent customer service, clear communication, and consistent, high-quality work. The Hairstylist will also collaborate with team members, participate in ongoing training, and support salon promotions and events as needed. Qualifications • Strong technical skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques. • Valid Cosmetology license (or equivalent state-required credential) and familiarity with industry hygiene and safety standards. • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to conduct consultations, provide recommendations, and build client relationships. • Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple appointments, and maintain an organized, professional workstation. • Interest in continued education, staying current with trends, and openness to feedback and collaboration with the salon team. • Previous salon experience is preferred but candidates with strong foundational skills and a growth mindset are encouraged to apply.
