Backend Engineer - .NET

Join our dynamic team as a Backend Engineer specializing in .NET development. We are seeking a talented individual to create event-sourced and microservices-based systems using .NET 8. This is a contract position that offers a competitive rate of $75.00 to $82.00/hr. as a W2 employee. You will design and deliver robust APIs, leverage Dapr and the actor pattern with Orleans, and integrate seamlessly with ERP systems. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate effectively with team members to implement event sourcing patterns. • Develop backend services using .NET 8. • Ensure seamless integration with ERP systems. • Utilize the actor pattern (Orleans) for innovative system design. • Develop and maintain APIs that meet our business needs. Preferred Experience: • Strong understanding of event sourcing, .NET 7 or .NET 8, and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with Dapr and the sidecar pattern. • Experience with the actor pattern using Orleans. • API development experience. • Proficiency in Rust, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Docker is a plus. • Experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with CQRS is preferred.
