A rapidly growing, national law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Partner with a portable book of business to join and help scale a high-performing practice group. This is a strategic growth hire for a firm making a significant investment in expanding its insurance defense and litigation platform.
Position Overview
• Join an established $9M insurance defense practice with aggressive growth goals
• Firm is targeting $6M–$8M in additional revenue growth in the near term
• Long-term vision to scale the group to $25M+ in revenue
• Opportunity to integrate into a collaborative, entrepreneurial partnership structure
Ideal Candidate
• Portable book of business ($1M+ required, $2M+ preferred)
• Background in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas
• Experience handling complex litigation, carrier relationships, and institutional clients
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice growth and team building
• Open to candidates from mid-size, regional, or boutique firms (including solo practitioners)
