Description
Walt’s Comic Shop is one of Europe’s leading comic retailers. From our warehouse and office in Berlin, we ship comics, graphic novels, manga, omnibus editions, art books, and collectibles to customers across Europe and around the world.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support our team with a mix of print and digital design projects.
Tasks
You will help create:
- Layouts and designs for recurring editorial and print projects
- Social advertising assets for Meta, Reddit, and other marketing channels
- Website banners, sliders, and visual assets for our online store
- YouTube thumbnails and other digital marketing materials
- Flyers, stickers, merchandise, and other print products
- Reusable templates and design systems for the wider team
You will also help us maintain and further develop a consistent visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
Requirements
- Strong Adobe InDesign skills
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
- Experience preparing print-ready artwork
- Experience with magazines, brochures, catalogues, or other multi-page publications
- A strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, and visual communication
- The ability to build clean and reusable templates
- Good English language skills
Especially Important
A significant part of this role involves editorial and print design work. Experience with multi-page layouts is therefore an important selection criterion.
We are not looking for a purely social-media-focused designer.
