Description
For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $156,000 – $210,600 annually
Responsibilities
Lead multiple engineering teams focused on delivery, quality, and business alignment
Coach and develop engineers to enhance performance and career growth
Drive AI-forward engineering practices to improve productivity and innovation
Facilitate continuous improvement in delivery practices and technical excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product and engineering priorities
Guide technical decision-making to ensure systems are maintainable and performant
Monitor engineering health metrics and support operational readiness efforts
Influence organizational strategies for process optimization and scalable practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in a software development team
3+ years in a software leadership role overseeing multiple teams
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
Experience in web-based software delivery for client-facing applications
Strong knowledge of MVC, OOP design, and algorithms for scalable applications
Proficiency in.NET Core 3.x with REST API design and Microservices
