About the Opportunity
The Director, Salesforce Applications provides strategic and technical leadership for the Salesforce ecosystem serving the Bath division. This role is responsible for defining platform vision, overseeing enterprise architecture, and leading digital transformation efforts. It partners with senior leaders across multiple departments to ensure Salesforce supports revenue growth and operational scaling, impacting approximately 900 users including internal staff and partners.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and own the multi-year Salesforce roadmap aligned with business goals. Present platform strategy and investment cases to executive leadership, while advising business leaders on Salesforce strategy and investments.
Enterprise Architecture: Manage enterprise architecture ensuring scalability and security. Own Salesforce clouds and integrations at architectural and operational levels, providing expert design feedback on Salesforce architecture and automation.
Team and Vendor Management: Lead and develop a team of Salesforce administrators and developers. Manage vendor relationships, team budgets, licensing strategy, and contract negotiations.
Governance and Project Oversight: Establish platform governance and data quality standards. Oversee the project portfolio, including prioritization, budgeting, and risk management, while leading Agile delivery processes and executive project reporting.
Platform Adoption and Support: Lead steering committees and enable platform adoption across the organization. Establish SLA frameworks, oversee production support, and maintain Salesforce releases, critical updates, and documentation.
Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging Salesforce technologies to improve corporate ecosystems.
Requirements
Salesforce Expertise: Expert knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and Experience Cloud.
Architectural and Technical Skills: Deep skills in Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, and integration. Technical proficiency in Flow automation, Apex, LWC, and API integrations.
Strategic Execution: Experience defining and executing multi-year platform strategies tied directly to business outcomes.
Leadership and Communication: Strong communication and leadership skills tailored for executive engagement, along with advanced project and portfolio management expertise.
Financial Acumen: Financial management experience, including overseeing budgets and managing vendor contracts.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with integration platforms and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, specifically Infor LN.
