By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.</p> <p><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>We are looking for a product designer to work on <a href="https://air.dev/">Air</a>, the company's new agentic development environment. Air is a new kind of developer tool: a workspace where multiple AI agents run tasks in parallel while the developer stays in control. The product includes a native desktop app and a web-based experience, with cloud execution and collaborative workflows in the works. AI is fundamentally changing how software is built, and our goal is to design an environment that makes this shift feel natural, for both solo developers and entire engineering teams.<br><br>We’re looking for someone who can lead design initiatives, own key product areas, and bring clarity and usability to complex technical workflows. Design plays a critical role in these products by helping developers stay in flow, reduce their cognitive load, and work more confidently across tools.<br><br></p> <p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces by creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.</li> <li>Lead large-scale initiatives from vision and strategy to execution.</li> <li>Collaborate with product managers, developers, and researchers to define problems, align on goals, and ensure design solutions meet user and business needs.</li> <li>Communicate design concepts and decisions to the team to promote alignment and comprehension.</li> <li>Collaborate with the UX Research and Analytics team to validate ideas and create design solutions grounded in real user needs and behavioral data.</li> <li>Work closely with the development team to implement and review your UI/UX solutions.</li> <li>Improve design processes together with the UX team, helping with the development of our design system to maintain visual and functional consistency across the product while enabling flexibility and scale.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design.</li> <li>Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where the product, technology, and priorities evolve quickly.</li> <li>Experience designing complex functional interfaces.&nbsp;</li> <li>A willingness to dive into complex topics related to programming.</li> <li>The ability to prototype, verify, present, and provide reasoning for your UI/UX solutions.</li> <li>Diligence and attention to detail.</li> <li>Spoken and written English at a level sufficient for everyday communication and writing documentation.</li> <li>Proactivity, independence, and strong time-management skills.</li> <li>The ability to work in a team and seek feedback to improve your solutions and processes.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>We would be especially thrilled if you have experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Designing for developer-focused products or technical environments.</li> <li>Designing complex functional interfaces.</li> <li>Programming and working with AI.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>We are an equal opportunity employer</strong><br><br>We know great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere.
